Beginners Welcome (Ages 7 & up): Lessons start with posture, bow basics, and age-appropriate fundamentals that make learning accessible and fun.
Individualized Instruction: Every student follows a personalized path — whether they’re preparing for school orchestra, recitals, or simply learning for pleasure.
Balanced Musical Learning: Doug incorporates technique, music theory, ear training, and musical expression at every level.
Performance Opportunities: In addition to our annual studio recital, students have the opportunity to rehearse with a professional pianist and perform for their peers in Studio Class five times a year, all included in monthly tuition.

Doug Jameson is a professional cellist and experienced teacher with over twenty five years of teaching in the Baltimore area. He combines expertise with patience and encouragement — earning trust from students and parents alike.
